On Friday, Feb. 12th, love was in the air as 34 couples entered the Crowne Plaza into the beautiful Atrium garden setting featuring koi ponds and white lights all around to set the romantic mood. The wonderful evening consisted of a photo shoot, fellowship, newlywed game, fellowship, devotion, and dancing.  Mike Ebuen emceed our dinner party and also hosted our Newlywed Game. This year we had four newlywed couples: Chris & Jenny Alfonso, JD & Thea Bautista, Justin & Christine Palarca, and Erick & JJ Sioson. The couples had a lot of fun and definitely learned more about each other. Some of the questions asked were 1) When is your mother-in-law’s birthday?, 2) What’s  the name of your husband’s boss?, 3) What did your husband wear on the day of your marriage  license registration? The winner was Mr. & Mrs. Alfonso for a $100 gift certificate to Specchio Restaurant in San Francisco. But the rest of the couples didn’t leave empty handed. They each received a $25 movie gift certificate.  A Marriage devotion was given by Al Almeda who encouraged us to love our spouses how God loves us. Then the evening was completed with all of the couples dancing the night away.
